ABOUT ME
Hi there. Let's get to know each other. I'll go first...
My name is David Sullivan. I go by ‘Sully’ because there are generally ten ‘David’s’ on every team. I'm a GCD-level (Copywriter) who has spent the last 17 years working at Ad Agencies like 72andSunny, MAL, Deutsch, Arts & Letters, AKQA, and RPA — on brands like Nike, Google, Meta, Apple, Coors Light, Starbucks, Honda, Instacart, blah blah blah.
Great. Cool. But why should you consider me? First and foremost, I have mountains of experience leading and creating marketing communications across all spectrums — TVC, video, digital, content, social, OOH, and so on. My background and expertise is copywriting (brand narratives, platforms, scripts, headlines, taglines, etc.) but I'd consider myself more of a both-y in that I have an eye for Art Direction. Here’s my special sauce though. I geek out on brand insight, strategy, and brand purpose, meaning I love helping companies find their northstar, whitespace, heartbeat, voice, or whatever you might call it.
I'm currently living the freelance life, so if you are an ad agency, in-house agency, a brand without an agency, or even a branding agency, let's definitely chat.
